  • 1–2 slices sourdough bread (toasted)

  • Salt & black pepper to taste

  • Optional: pinch of chilli flakes or crushed herbs

  • ½ cup baked beans in tomato sauce (store-bought or homemade)

  • Optional: a pinch of paprika or smoked chilli for extra flavour

  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms (button, cremini, or any kind you love)

  • Salt & pepper, to taste

  • Cooked without oil for a lighter version

Step 1: Prepare the Avocado Mash

  1. In a bowl, scoop out the avocado.

  2. Add lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

  3. Mash with a fork until creamy but slightly chunky.

  4. Add chili flakes or herbs if desired.


Step 2: Warm the Baked Beans

  1. Heat the baked beans in a small pan over low flame for 2–3 minutes.

  2. Add a pinch of paprika or chili for flavor (optional).


Step 3: Sautรฉ the Mushrooms

  1. Heat a non-stick pan on medium flame.

  2. Add mushrooms directly — no oil needed.

  3. Sautรฉ until they release their natural moisture and turn golden brown.

  4. Season with salt and pepper.
