🍫 Almond Flour Brownies with Maple Syrup – Guilt-Free Fudgy Bliss

Rich, fudgy, and naturally sweet — these brownies are my guilt-free way to enjoy chocolate bliss. They’re grain-free, refined-sugar-free, and melt-in-your-mouth soft. Perfect with a cup of coffee or an evening herbal tea.

🏡 My Kitchen Story

Some evenings, all I crave is that comforting scent of chocolate wafting through the kitchen. These almond flour brownies are my go-to when I want something indulgent yet wholesome — no refined sugar, no gluten, just pure chocolatey joy.
The maple syrup gives them a delicate caramel note, and the almond flour makes them incredibly moist and fudgy. Perfect for lazy weekends, movie nights, or a midweek “I deserve this” moment.

🍫 Ingredients

(Makes about 9 brownies)

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ⅓ cup pure maple syrup
  • ¼ cup melted coconut oil (or butter)
  • 2 large eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: ¼ cup dark chocolate chips or chopped walnuts

🥣 Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 175 °C / 350 °F.
Line an 8-inch (20 cm) square baking pan with parchment paper for easy removal.
  2. Mix the dry ingredients.
In a bowl, whisk almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Combine the wet ingredients.
In another bowl, whisk together eggs, maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla extract until glossy and smooth.
  4. Blend & fold.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry. Stir gently until combined — don’t overmix. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if you like some crunch.
  5. Bake.
Pour batter into the prepared pan, spread evenly, and bake for 25–30 minutes, until the center is just set.
  6. Cool & enjoy.
Let the brownies cool completely before cutting. They’ll firm up beautifully while resting.

🌿 Notes & Tips

  • To make it vegan, replace eggs with 2 flax eggs (2 tbsp ground flax + 6 tbsp water, let sit 5 min).
  • Add a sprinkle of sea salt flakes on top before baking for a gourmet touch.
  • Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temp or 1 week in the fridge.

☕ Serving Suggestion

Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup and a scoop of vanilla yogurt or coffee on the side. These brownies are also amazing crumbled over ice cream or enjoyed with almond milk.
