๐ŸŒž Perfect For

  • Summer desserts

  • Parties & potlucks

  • Family gatherings

  • When you want something quick yet impressive

  • Beginner bakers or no-bake dessert lovers

Ingredients

  • Lady finger cookies – as required

  • Lite condensed milk – 390 g

  • Thickened cream (chilled) – 600 ml

  • Vanilla essence – 1 tsp

  • Ripe Mangoes – 2

๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿณ Step-by-Step Method

Step 1: Prepare the Mango

  1. Cut 1 mango into small cubes and keep aside.

  2. Take pulp of the second mango.

  3. Add pulp and the water/juice collected while cutting mangoes into a mixer.

  4. Blend into smooth mango juice.

This fresh mango juice is what makes the dessert naturally fruity and flavourful.

Step 2: Whip the Cream

  1. In a bowl, add chilled thickened cream.

  2. Whip using a hand mixer until stiff peaks form.
The cream should hold its shape and not fall.

  3. Add:

    • Condensed milk

    • Vanilla essence

  4. Gently mix until just combined.
Do not overbeat. We want the cream light, airy and fluffy.

Step 3: Layering the Mango Misu

  1. Dip each lady finger cookie into mango juice.
Make sure they soak nicely but don’t break.

  2. Arrange them in a single layer in a glass container.

  3. Spread a thick layer of prepared cream.

  4. Repeat the layers:

    • Mango-dipped lady fingers

    • Cream mixture

  5. Crush 1 lady finger cookie and sprinkle it on top.

  6. Add mango cubes evenly.

  7. Pour remaining mango juice slowly on top.

The layers look beautiful and every bite gets a balance of biscuit, cream and mango.

Step 4: Chill & Set

  1. Cover with cling wrap.

  2. Close the lid properly.

  3. Refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours.

This resting time allows:

  • Lady fingers to soften

  • Mango flavour to infuse

  • Cream to set perfectly
